New direct flights Italy China, with Air China: from Malpensa and Fiumicino [quarantine rules]

Air China has officially resumed its direct flights from Italy to China. There are five weekly options, divided between Milan and Rome. In some cases the flight is directed to China.

In all cases, flying with Air China to enter the Chinese nation currently implies health limits with quarantine, to be checked in detail before departure.

Air China Fiumicino, Rome

With the last week of October, from day 29, flight CA732 FCO-HGH (Rome-Hangzhou v.v.) resumes.

A direct flight, operating twice a week (Thursday and Saturday) with three classes of service: Business, Premium, Economy. The aircraft in use is an A-330-300.

As per regulations in force in China, quarantine is required in Hangzhou, the first city of arrival.

Air China Malpensa, Milan

CA950 MXP-PEK flight (Milan Beijing v.v.) has been operational since October 28th. Operating three days a week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) with three classes of service: Business, Premium, Economy.

Flights to and from Milan are not direct: Wednesday’s flight makes a stopover in Hehhot, while Friday and Saturday flights are with a stopover in Shenyang.

At the end of the quarantine in these stopover cities, passengers will be able to proceed with the destination flight.

Entry into China and quarantine

Currently, according to the chinese regulations, the requirement of quarantine at the entrance is present: with seven days foreseen, in hotels, plus three days of isolation in the chosen domicile.
